Sandblasting Glass Artist, DeWayne Scrivner, of Waldport OR, creates Art in Glass.

His sandblasted glass etchings are created through imagination & life’s experiences. It begins with the chipping of the edges of the glass, unique to each piece, which creates a personal frame or accent. The image is then drawn on the reverse side of the glass and sandblasted (cut) into the glass to create a three dimensional piece of art. DeWayne has recently started to design Sandblasted Glass jewelry with the same details which is reflected in his art glass. Subject matter covers a wide range from animal and nature to Celtic and Lighthouses.
Both shows run at FEC Gallery One from March 27 to April 23, 2008.
