The Friends of the Florence Events Center announces the open application cycle for small grants for use of the Florence Events Center facility rental fees. Potential applicants may pick up an application from the Florence Events Center office or download an application form from the pdf link below..

The mission of the Friends of the Florence Events Center is to support the FEC’s staging of musical, theatrical, education and cultural events for the greater Florence area. This is accomplished by financial support for the Center’s needs, as well as serving as a vital source of volunteers. This grant opportunity carries out that mission by offering financial support up to $725 to the Florence area community arts organizations, who stage events at the FEC.

Grant criteria requires the funds are to be used for an event rental in the theater or on the flat floor within the 2017-18 performance year at the Florence Events Center by a non-profit organization. Preference will be given to organizations that use volunteers and events that are open to the community.

Applications are to be received or postmarked no later than June 20th at 4 p.m. at the Florence Events Center office. More information is available from the FEC at 541-997-1994.
