Ho Ho Hollywood –  The Holly Jolly Follies

A happy tradition in Flo-town is to gather the family and head to the Florence Events Center for the community event, “The Holly Jolly Follies.”  This year’s Follies will be produced December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th by local youth non-profit, Children’s Repertory of Oregon Workshops (C.R.O.W.) with Artistic Director, Melanie Heard at the helm.  Rose Ellen Jacobson has penned a hilariously quirky plot, involving some favorite well known Christmas icons, including dear old Mr. Claus (played by local favorite, Dorland Neale).  The theme revolves around Hollywood and all that it offers, including glitz, glamour, and tap dancing starlets. As expected, there will be delightful cameos from many familiar faces including the FloTones, local Choirs, and of course, the C.R.O.W. kids!

Tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and younger.  Showtimes are Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 2 pm and 7 pm, and Sunday at 2 pm.  All proceeds will support youth scholarships and the ongoing free arts programming that C.R.O.W. provides to local kids.
