Robert's Rules of Order in Brief Workshop

Want to attend more productive and efficient meetings? Unsure of when to make a motion for new business or call for the order of the day? Would you like to feel confident when attending a meeting that uses parliamentary procedure and actively participate? Then you will want to take advantage of this golden opportunity to brush up on the basics!

Dr. Russ Pierson of Lane community College has designed this workshop for new board members, long-time members and anyone part of an organization or committee that holds regular meetings. The goal of Robert's Rules of Order is to to provide common rules and procedures for deliberation and debate in order to place the whole membership on the same footing and speaking the same language.

Pre-register now for Thursday, September 8th at 9 a.m. to Noon at the Florence Events Center. This workshop is only $10 and comes with a book for your own personal use. Refreshments will also be provided. Be ready for your next meeting with the Rules of the Road!
