Originally hired on as the Operations Manager in July 1996, Kevin was later appointed the Events Centers Director in July of 2002.

Prior to moving to Florence, Kevin lived in Southern California where he spent 11 years managing the Whittier High School Auditorium in addition to instructing high school stagecraft and technical theater classes. Kevin studied business management in college and gained his technical experience and training as a touring musician in his earlier years. Kevin is a member of the International Association of Assembly Managers and has over 20 years experience in facility management.

Lis Farm has worked at the Florence Events Center for over four years. She has over 30 years of marketing experience which includes, retail, commercial and advertising sales and marketing. Lis is a native Oregonian and has lived in the Florence area for nearly twenty years. She likes to donate her time and has been active in school, scouting, and Chamber of Commerce activities and events. Lis currently is active in the Florence Rotary Club. Now that her children are grown, she and her husband love to work in the garden and spend time with their two dogs.

Having worked for the local newspaper for 14 years she was fortunate enough to get to know many in the town which have been a huge asset in her current role as Community Outreach Manager. Lis enjoyed working with the FEC volunteers, Friends group and is available to help you with your FEC event.

Tara brings four years of banking experience and over ten years of office manager expertise to the Florence Events Center administrative staff.

Tara has lived in Florence for 17 years and enjoys working with the public. Her hobbies are tied in with her family as they ride ATVs and horses as much as time allows with three children and multiple schedules.

She has been with the Events Center since December 2006, and says she is happy to be involved in such a wonderful organization.

Bob was born in Santa Barbara California and moved to Oregon in 1989 to the Roseburg area. He has been in Florence since 2002 enjoying the coast with his wife Susan and five children.

Bob has a technical background in the sound and entertainment field working for Southbound Sound and Music as well as KGRV Radio in Roseburg and Winston Oregon. His interests in music and entertainment led to a serious hobby/business in both performance and the recording field. He has engineered and produced several CD projects for himself and other Oregon based performers as well as spending many hours performing and producing live music and ministry events in Oregon and California.

Bob’s favorite nickname is “Gadget Man” and uses technology to work smarter and better! Look for Bob to help keep the Event Center on the cutting edge of technology as we head into the next 10 years!
