Rhododendron Flower Show

“Earth Laughs in Flowers”. So wrote Emerson and, for our beautiful hamlet, the grins are just beginning. As we scan our gardens, the prospect of finding that illusive, award winning, ‘perfect truss’ looms large and to that end the Siuslaw Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society would like to invite you to attend our Rhody Festival Show on May 20th and 21st. In conjunction with the show is a plant sale affording the public the opportunity to purchase many hard-to-find varieties. Sales are from 12 to 5 Saturday and 10 to 5 Sunday.

Our members are anxious to share their knowledge about the genus Rhododendron and invite the public to participate in our meetings and shows. If you wish to enter a truss (flower) we will be happy to guide you through the process. Doors are open on Saturday the 20th from 7AM until 9AM for entries.
