The Siuslaw News, Florence Events Center and the Florence Wiener Dog Races are partnering together again to bring the Florence community, Okto-Fur-Fest 2019!
On Saturday, October 12, 11:30-3pm join us for great food and family fun!
The Wiener Dog Races, annually sponsored by the Siuslaw News, will once again be a highlight of Okto-Fur-Fest.
Every year, these fierce competitors go head-to-head or perhaps head-to-tail starting at 1pm. They line up in the starting box and sprint down the new race field, inside the Florence Events Center, at tremendous speed! It is $10 to enter your dachshund and includes one entry to the event.
Registration and raffle proceeds will be donated to the Florence Van Fans. To register your dog for the races please contact Jeanna Petersen at 541-902-3529.
Brats, beer & wine will served by Pavilion Catering.
Entry to Okto-Fur-Fest is $3, limited perimeter seating, for the best view of the races is available for an additional $7. Tickets are available at the Florence Events Center or at the door the day of the event.
